THE DETTY DECEMBER LOCATIONS

This year, Detty December expands across two iconic Lagos destinations — each representing a different facet of the city’s electric energy and creative pulse.

Illubirin

Perched on the edge of Lagos Island, the Ilubirin Development is a modern waterfront city-in-the-making, offering panoramic lagoon views and a serene but vibrant atmosphere.
It’s set to become a new creative and cultural hub for Lagos, making it the perfect extension of the Detty December universe.

  • From the Airport (Murtala Muhammed International, LOS):

  • From the Island (Victoria Island, Ikoyi):

LIVESPOT ENTERTARIUM

Located in Lekki, the Livespot Entertarium is Lagos’ first-of-its-kind hybrid venue — purpose-built for immersive live experiences.
It’s home to concerts, art showcases, comedy nights, private dinners, and film screenings. The Entertarium embodies Livespot’s creative ethos: innovation, precision, and unforgettable moments.

FAQs

GENERAL

Detty December Fest is Lagos’ ultimate month-long celebration of music, culture, and creativity — featuring world-class concerts, nightlife experiences, art, food, and fashion. From aerial shows to afterparties, it’s where the pulse of December is loudest.

Detty December Fest runs all through December in Lagos, Nigeria, with headline experiences taking place at the Ilubirin development and the Livespot Entertarium

Ilubirin offers a unique, scenic lagoonfront setting with strong infrastructure potential, making it ideal for large concerts, immersive experiences, and a dynamic festival environment. It’s designed to be a “live, work, play” district, so the vibe aligns well with the 360° cultural/entertainment goals of Detty December.

Detty December Fest is produced by Livespot360, the creative collective behind iconic events like Livespot X Festival, EWA (Entertainment Week Africa), and some of the biggest productions in the continent.

LOGISTICS & TRAVEL

Final schedules will be published closer to each event date.

Ilubirin is reasonably close to Lagos’ main airport (LOS). While travel time depends heavily on traffic, the distance is such that a private car or ride booking is the most practical way to get there.

You’d head toward the Third Mainland Bridge, cross into Lagos Island, then use the designated access roads or flyover (when completed) to enter Ilubirin.

Use the island’s road network toward Adeniji Adele / bridge exit points, then merge into the Ilubirin access road system.

Yes, we’re planning to deploy festival shuttles, directional signage, and partner with ride-hailing services to guide guests to the correct entrance. (You may want to confirm this internally and assert it in your messaging.)

Because of Lagos traffic, always give yourself ample buffer time,  especially if arriving from the airport or from across the city. Expect delays, particularly during peak hours or if there are incidents on major bridges or highways.

SAFETY & SUPPORT

Livespot maintains international event-safety standards with professional security, crowd control, on-site medical support, and surveillance throughout all venues.
